~２００３年の東京と、２０００年のロンドンのライブ。それぞれに特徴のある仕様で、東京は高画質で安定したNeuvo Metal~~ を堪能できます。客電が落ちないままおもむろにステージに現れ、サウンドスケイプを披露するフリップ先生。日常から非日常に誘われます。映像でよく見ると、４人ともとんでもない演奏をしていることがよくわかります。ロンドンは画質、カメラアングルが劣りますが、逆にライブの臨場感が味わえ、ランダムにインプロが選ばれるので、数回見ても違った印象を受~~け、楽しいです。太陽と戦慄p.t.4はカメラ固定のおかげで先生の神業のようなソロが楽しめます。今でも彼らにしかできない、危険な音楽を突き詰めている彼らの姿勢は本当に感心します。また、以前あった音の左右が逆転していた問題もこの日本版では解決しているようです。安心してお買い求めください。唯一フラクチャードの映像が見られないのは残念だなあ。あと~~２００３年のはマルチアングルもあると良かったのに。~

2003年東京、2000年ロンドンでのライブを収録した２枚組のＤＶＤです。ライブを重ねつつ、熟成を重ねていくバンドだけに、各時期の特徴が楽しめるＤＶＤになっています。DISK２は、lineup６の原型期にあたるだけに、全般的にワイルドな演奏になっています。また、インプロ部分が再生のたびにランダムで登場するつくりになっていますので、再生の度に違った構成のステージを見ているような感じで楽しめます。DISK１はlineup６の完成期にあたる東京公演をほぼ再現しているだけでなく、各メンバーに専用カメラが用意されており、各メンバーの細かい指の動きまでが楽しめます。ガンやマステロットも上手いのですが、やはり特筆すべきは、笑いながらステップを踏んで高度なプレイをするブリューと、対照的にイスに座ったままニコリともしないでこれまた高度なプレイをするフィリップ卿でしょうか。
トニーレヴィンが復帰し、lineup７が始動した今、lineup６の原型~完成までを楽しめる貴重なＤＶＤだけにＫＣファンにはお奨めです。

１枚目の東京公演でのエイドリアン・ブリューの広大な額と爺シャツには賛否はどうあれ誰も驚くであろう。まあ、それは置いておくとして、彼はロンドン公演ではアンコールにクラシックギターを持ち出しソロで「Three Of A Perfect Pair」を演奏するという驚くことをしてくれた。流石にこれは衝撃だ。
パットのドラミングも彼の体型を見ながらだと、重厚感が増しますね。トレイ・ガンはやはり目立つことはないが、サウンドの土台を形成する上できっちりと仕事をこなしている。フリップは相変わらず座って演奏。
中心人物は勿論フリップなのだが、映像で見ると今のＫＣにとってブリューの存在は大きいと思う。このバンド（否、音楽共同体でしたね）に対する愛着心はフリップに負けていない様に見える。そんなエイドリアン・ブリューが私は好きです。
私もFrakcturedは収録してもらいたかったですね。他にこのＤＶＤタイトルのアイズ・ワイド・オープンが収録されていないといった意味不明な構成等問題ありですが、ディシプリン以降のＫＣを受け入れている方は購入した方がいいです。
