今から25年程前に発売されたファーストです!この度は紙ジャケでの再発みたいで当時のファンとしては嬉しい限りです!内容はテンポ良くカバー曲のセンスも脱帽もの!是非ロカビリー好きじゃない方にも聞いて貰いたい!自分の中では全洋楽の中でも群を行く出来だと思います。是非ご一聴の程を♪

とにかく最高です。ニューヨーク・ロングアイランド出身の3匹の迷い猫が、イギリス・ロンドンで大ヒット。そしてこのアルバムは日本でもヒットしました。デビュー曲【涙のラナウェイ・ボーイ】、日本でもヒットした【ロック・タウンは恋の街】、P.Vがメチャメチャカッコイイ【ストレイ・キャット・すとらっと】、モッズとの抗争を曲にした【ランブル・イン・ブライトン】カバーでは、スカのリズムを入れた、ウォーレン・スミスの【ユバンギ・ストンプ】、エディ・コクランの【ジニー・ジニー・ジニー】、ジーン・ヴィンセントの【ダブル・トーキン・ベイビー】、リック・ネルソンの【マイ・ワン・ディザィアー】など全曲捨て曲ナシ。裏ジャケのデザインも最高！これを真似してNu-Nileを髪に塗りラッキーストライク吸ってたっけ…（笑）

まず、カスタマーレビューの少なさに悲しくなりました。ネオロカ最大のバンドの人気こんなもんなのか。
そうだよな。リーゼントだし、、、
ということで、全ロカビリアン集合、即バップな本作ですが、ジャケがカッコよすぎる。グレッチを小脇に抱えるセッツァーには男ながらキュンと来てしまう。
ここではまだ完成されぬセッツァー特有のジャジーなアプローチも、逆にピュアロカっぽくてカッコいいです。
パンクの影響を感じる「パンカビリー」な曲はどれもうるさいだけでなく粋でロカマナーから外れないものです。
いやぁ、名盤。
