自分が自分でいられて居心地がいい場所を見つけるというのは
案外難しいのかもしれません。

日常居る場所に不満があっても
どこが自分に適した場所なのか？
それ見つけて、その場所に居られる事は幸せなのでしょう。

ノリノリのガイ・ピアーズが元気をくれます。
元気がない時つい繰り返し観てしまう映画です。

　まさかと思うが、そんな風に捉える人も多いらしく、当時下関市の某映画同好会がこの映画を上映したために大量の脱会者が出たと聞く。

　でもこれは（ハリウッド映画によくあるように）都合のいいように明るくゲイを描いた作品でない。「ゲイ」は単に登場人物の属性の一つでしかなく、「ある人々の生き方を愛情を持って描いた人生賛歌」といった方がずっと正確。人生はつらいことも多いけど、前向きに生きていけるよ、という力強いメッセージのようだ。しかも、同時に素晴らしいコメディでもあるときたもんだ。
　これを傑作と言わんで、なにを傑作扱いするの？？

３人のまっすぐな生き方をみると、自分の凝り固まった価値観とか偏見
がばかみたいに思えてきます。マイノリティに対する見方を変える力
をもったすばらしい映画だと思いました。
また忘れた頃にもう一度観るつもりです。
