   野崎良太のワンマン・プロジェクト、Jazztronik。ハウスミュージックをベースにJ-POPや、ボサノヴァなどの要素をミックスしたポップなサウンドが人気の秘密だ。前作のミニ・アルバム『Horizon』ではMyeの歌う「アオイアサガオ」が評判になったが、本作ではMyeが日本語でタイトル曲を歌っている。

   野崎良太は音楽的な視野がものすごく広く、あらゆる要素をそのサウンドの中にブチ込む。たとえば「Nana」にはクイーカやビリンバウといったブラジルの楽器が登場し、サックス・ソロが加わると渡辺貞夫のような世界になる。かと思えば葉加瀬太郎への提供曲「Arabesque」は同じブラジリアン・テイストでも、そこにスパニッシュのスパイスを加える、といった具合で、とにかく目まぐるしく、さまざまな要素が交錯する万華鏡のような世界を聴かせる。プログラミングだけに頼らず、最後はしっとりとしたアコースティック・ピアノ・ソロで終わるというエンディングもしゃれている。（市川正二）

野崎良太の不定形プロジェクトの日本語タイトルとしては初のアルバム。スムースなハウス・ビート上を南米音楽が心地よく転がっていく後に静かな歌ものへと移行していくなど、とにかく流れは絶妙。音がデザインされていく感覚がまた美しさを呼ぶ。

今更のコメントですが、なんだかんだいい作品だと思います。歌モノに関しては好みがはっきりわかれますし、個人的にはJazztronikの得意な性質・最良点と少し違う、あえて「はずし」の感じととらえればいいと思います。ある意味醍醐味かもしれません。
全体的な仕上がりとしては全く問題なく、スムースに聴けますので、歌モノがあることでインストに慣れていない人も聴きやすいのでは。

とにかく音の造りが上品だと言うのが第一印象でした。

私は都内の某大手外資系のCD SHOP店内で流れていた「Nana」を聴いて、
「NOW PLAYING」でこのアルバム、アーティストを知り得たのですが、
YMO→T-SQUAREと聴いてきた私にとって、正にストライク！！でした。
新たに聴き続けていくことの出来るアーティストと出会えて良かったと思っています。

私にとってはこのアルバムがJazztronikの入口となったアルバムですが、
Jazztronikのアルバムを誰かに勧める場合、
最初の１枚として勧めるには非常にとっつきやすくて良いのではないでしょうか。

買ったばかりの頃は「七色」「Nana」がお気に入りでしたが、
いまでは「SAMURAI-侍」がヘビーローテーションチューンとなっています。

この曲を作曲・演奏している野崎さんってスゴイと思いました。
