アジア映画が熱い現在、台湾の藍色夏恋は、とても素晴らしい。
高校生の男女３人の複雑な恋愛模様を、瑞々しく描ききり、
映像もとてもキレイで、何より、チェンボーリンは、これから伸びるだろう
素晴らしい素質を残している。
彼の自然な演技が、この映画を一層、爽やかなものにした。
この映画は、ただの青春映画ではない。

大人になる前に、誰もが一度は経験する恋の悩みを、淡々と描くことに
よって、観終った後に切なくなる映画である。

タイトルに魅かれてみたこの映画。最初はいわゆる恋愛モノだとたかをくくっていたのですが、他人との間でゆれながら自我の目覚めを感じ始めた三人の高校生と、ほんの一瞬でしかないある夏の出来事を、さわやかに描いた映画です。今の日本でこの手の映画を作ろうとしても、きっとほんのり臭さが漂ってしまうと思えるのですが、なんとなく人間の匂いが残る２００１年の台湾が舞台だったからこそ、印象深い作品になったのだと思います。

「素敵な映画を見つけた」、こう思わせてくれる作品でした。
携帯電話を持っているのに、会いたいときは、何度でも自転車をこいで会いに行く少年の姿と、好きな女の子に向ける笑顔が印象的です。
少ない台詞、少ない効果音、それでもたくさんの言葉を話しているように聴こえ、音楽を感じ取れる映像を作る監督の技量にも驚きました。
