   韓国のソフトメーカー、Softmaxが開発し、当時の韓国PC市場では異例の売り上げを記録したRPGが、約6年の時を経てPlayStation2に登場。「新ソフトウェア大賞（情報通信部長官賞）」、「ソフトエキスポ'98商品賞コンテンツ（国務総理賞）」など数々の賞を受賞した作品で、日本ではDreamcast、PCソフトに続いての移植になる。

   物語の舞台となるのは、かつて人類と神々が光と闇の陣営に分かれて争ったといわれるアンタリア大陸。当時の大戦を研究していた学者シラノ・バーンスタインが、「禁書」を研究した罪で投獄され、14年という長き強制労働の末、脱獄に成功、その後自分を陥れた者たちへの復讐を行うという内容になっている。

   このPS2版はオリジナルの移植に終始せず、数々の改良がなされているのが特徴。ビジュアルやインターフェイス、BGMのクオリティーアップはもちろんのこと、プレイ環境の向上や一度流れたムービーが閲覧可能になる「ムービーモード」の追加、さらには新たな魔法やアイテムも導入され、以前プレイした人でも一味違った感覚が味わえるようになっている。

   なお、この初回限定版にはゲーム中の楽曲42曲が収録された「プレミアムサウンドトラック」が同梱されている。（田村 雅）

主人公が復讐のために進むと言う、それだけで既に重いストーリー。
少なくとも心弾む冒険譚とは言えない。
残酷なのは嫌だと言う方は多分気に入らないと思う。
エンディングは3つくらいあったと思いますが、終盤に出てくる
選択肢を2,3回選ぶその選び方だけで決まってしまうのはちょっと。

あとはマップ。同じマップを使いまわしている場面が非常に多いので
こまめに現在位置を確認しないとすぐに道に迷うのが難点。

まだ最初の方しかやってないのですが、面白いです。

３頭身ぐらいの（２Ｄって言うんですかね）キャラがなんか新鮮でいい感じでした。絵も（特に女の子がイイ!!）音楽も綺麗ですし、なによりストーリーにロマンがあるね。「やっぱりＲＰＧはこうでなくては！」と思わせられる作品です。戦闘システムはちょっと残念なデキでしたが（^-^;まぁその辺は気にしない、と。

基本PCの移植なので万人に受けるRPGではないですが、日本ファルコムの作品が好きなら楽しめると思います。戦闘やマップなどは及第点ありですがキャラクター・音楽が優秀なので 腰を据えて遊ぶには持ってこいの出来です。同梱のCDの出来が良いのでお得感を求めるなら、CD同梱版をお薦めです!

人間の心の奥を見せたようなストーリーです。とりあえず感動します。普通に感動します。アドベンチャーとしてでも普通に楽しいと思います。
