2001年5月にデビューした3ピース・バンドのファースト・アルバム。デビュー当時から、絶妙なメロディやアレンジ・ワークで定評のあったグループだが、本作はその才能をさらに凝縮して見せている。カラフルな音楽性と、それをまとめ上げる力強い表現力は圧巻。

2001年5月のデビューから約1年7ヵ月。その間、シングルはリリースするものの、なかなかアルバムには至らなかった彼らだが、ここへ来てようやく待ちにまった作品がお目見えした。メロディアスなポップ・チューンあり、アンビエントな世界あり、切ないバラードあり。10曲の中にさまざまな要素を詰め込んだという印象を受けるのだが、不思議とバラバラな感じはしない。それは、メンバーの言葉を借りて言うならば「すべてはその中心にあるメロディを伝えたいだけ」だからだろう。卓越したメロディ・センスが光るファースト・アルバムとなった。 (江藤麻由) --- 2003年01月号
