Classicsということで、収録が１９９０年となり埼京線がない時代の展望であって、渋谷、恵比寿、大崎のホームがない。逆に懐かしいかも。オープニングは思ったより雰囲気が味わえてなかなかいい。また、何故かスピード感があって、他のシリーズとはまた違った感じで楽しめると思います。ただし、トンネル内はやはり暗くちょっと残念かも。

走行映像のスーパービュー踊り子は旧塗装で、わずか数年前までの塗装にも関わらず何故か懐かしく感じます。個人的には現在のグリーン塗装が好きです。通常、展望映像は運転室内の計器類などは画面に入れない様にしていますが、このソフトでは入っており、トンネルの多い早川〜伊東間ではトンネル内で画面が黒一色になるよりは、画的にはかえって良くなっていると思います。すれ違う列車も113系の湘南色・スカ色、それに組み込まれる改造のグリーン車。カートレインなどは現在では見られないので貴重です。収録は1990年、他にも列車以外に懐かしいものが沢山画面に入ってきます。 「列車通り」シリーズの変なこだわりなのか、あくまでJR東日本の路線内だけの収録であり、伊豆急行線・伊東〜伊豆急下田の乗入れ区間は収録されておりません。列車だけに中途半端という事で「★★★☆☆」になりました。Hi-Visionシリーズで復活予定があるとすればその時は是非、フル区間の収録を。
