83年にフジテレビ系でオンエアされたカルトロボットアニメ「特装機兵 ドルバック」が初の全話DVD化。1999年、安住の地を求める宇宙流民・イデリア星人が地球の侵略を開始。苦戦する地球連邦軍の中で、最新鋭のマシンを駆るドルバック部隊が立ち上がる。

1983年10月から1984年6月にかけてフジテレビ系にて放送されたロボットアニメ。地球を侵略しようとする宇宙人に立ち向かうドルバック隊の活躍を描く。声の出演は古谷徹、鶴ひろみ、亀山助清ほか。

ストーリは、さすがに、古さを感じるけど。
キャラクターのエピソードとかは、葦プロらしくて好きです。
特に、主人公の一人のピエール　ボナパルトの戦死するエピソードは
初めてTVで見た時の様に熱く成りました。
幻特典映像は、有ると言う事は、知っていました。
もうビデオが入手困難ため一生見れないと思っていたのでストーリ
以外は、大満足です

８０年代葦プロ作品はアニメファンには有名なものも多いが、
この作品はひたすらカルト。

一般人にまで受けるにはわかりやすくなくてはダメ。
そのわかりやすさを、「あえて」廃し、
徹底して硬派なリアルロボットアニメに徹しているところが、
このアニメの欠点でもあり、「魅力」でもあるというところか。

私はそんなストイックさが性にあう。星５つ。
