どれだけ、このALZOの作品のCD化を待った事か。まさに快挙です。
CDで手軽に聴けるようになるなんて夢のようです。
長門芳郎さんありがとう！！

73年製作の、幻の未発表のセカンド・アルバムもついに日の目を見ることになるそうで･･･これまた待ちきれません（早く！）

Ampexのカット盤を中古屋で入手してから幾星霜。

チリチリ音の向こうから聞こえてきた、アルゾの流麗なファルセットと12弦ギターとパーカッションとストリングスとエレピと･･･、とにかく美しいメロディーと心地良いグルーブ感。
とにかく言葉では言い尽くせないほど素晴らしい音楽です。
僕にとっては、これ一枚あれば他には何もいらないぐらいです。

1曲目の清冽なカントリーで惹きつけられ、2曲目の胸キュンなドント・アスク・ミー・ホワイでもうあなたは、アルゾの虜になること間違いなし。
それから、4曲目のルックス・ライク・レインや9曲目のユー・ノウ・ミー、アイ・ノウ・ユーなどなどKOソングのオン・パレード！。

とにかく聴くしかありません。至福の40分弱に浸りましょう。

　最高なソフト・メロウネス！山下達郎等、シュガーベイブ勢が絶賛のアルゾ幻の名盤！７ｔｈコードを巧みに用いた反復２コードがメインのソフトロック、そしてソウルネス。発表当時、評価されずじまいだったという事実が嘘の様な美しい世界。レフトバンク等、バロック風ソフトロックが好きな方にも、また、ニックドレイク等のフォークファンにも好かれるであろう間口の広い作りにも魅力があります。
　再評価されて間もなく、先日、仲間と飲んでいる最中に息を引き取ったというアルゾ。本当に再評価されたという事実が彼に伝わって良かったと思います。今後、未発表作品が続々出てくると思われますが、その旅路を経た現代の彼の声を聴きたかったののも事実。とても残念ですが、彼の肯定的な詩作、生きる事への希望を歌った曲達は、今を生きる私達を強く力付けてくれます。
　天国のアルゾもきっと喜んでいるはずです。悲しい事も、彼の歌で柔らかくなる。素晴らしいミュージシャンだと思います。

アルゾのことは、全く知りません。
サーフィンで出会った、この人に対する批評が、とても興味深く、それがきっかけで買い求めたものです。勿論、アマゾンのカスタマーレビューも参考にしました。････皆が評するほど、そんな大層なものかﾅと思いながらも。
　パバロッティなどの三大テノールの歌声に初めて触れて魅了されたのと同じような感動がありました。･･･時間が経つと、また聴きたくなるのです。　
専門的な音楽性についてのレビューは門外漢でできませんが、時間がたっても、また触れてみたくなる世界に浸ることができます。
