1998年に敢行されたホール・ツアーから、NHKホールでのライヴを完全収録。この頃のGLAYはCDセールス、コンサートにおける観客動員数をすさまじいスピードで増幅させていたわけだが、あえてホールでのツアーを行うことで、もう一度、自分たちのルーツを見直そうとしていたのではないだろうか。
この作品におけるGLAYは、一心不乱に“音楽”に集中しているように見える。凝った演出に頼るのではなく、自らの楽曲と演奏でオーディエンスを惹きつけること。このツアーで彼らがやりたかったことは、おそらく、そういうことだったと思う。その結果、この作品は、GLAYの曲のよさ、バンド・アンサンブルのクオリティの高さをじゅうぶんに証明するものとなった。特にTAKUROのギター・ワークには日本のビート・ロックの良質な部分を体現していて、圧巻。（森 朋之）
