小さい頃に受けた鮮烈な衝撃が、そのままに新しい衝撃となって蘇りました。忘れられないあのオープニング。印象的な場面が流れるように織り込まれていく背景には、ジョーの憂いを秘めた横顔があって、吼えたかと思うと涙を散らす。30年近くを経た今見ても、胸がどきどきしました。
同じく昔見た「超銀河伝説」は、画面的には美しいのですが、大人になってから観ると、ストーリー的に物足りない映画だと感じてしまいました。でも、このTV版は違いました。造り手の方々のエネルギーがびしびし伝わってくるようで圧倒されます。009シリーズの持っている魅力を、TVの画面上でこれでもかと示してくれていると思います。
それから、他の方々も書かれていますが、ジョーが本当に良いです。作画でもストーリーにおいても、またCVでも、母性本能をくすぐらずにはおかないジョーの魅力を描ききったのは、このシリーズをおいて他にないと思います。杉山佳寿子さんのフランソワーズも、とても可愛くて素敵です。
30年近く待った甲斐がありました…幸せです。

1967年、1979年、2001年と３度テレビシリーズ化され、どれもそれぞれに素晴らしい。もちろん、後になるほどクオリティが格段に上がるのは確かであり、ストーリーそのものも、大人の鑑賞に耐えるしっかりしたものになるのだが、私はこの1979年版が大変に良いと思う。
それはまず、登場人物達の作画・造形が明らかに1979年版が良い。2001年版は、原作の絵柄を最大に生かすことを意図していたが、この1979年版の方が、サイボーグ戦士達の身体のプロポーション、ポーズ、動きが圧倒的にカッコ良い。また顔も、003が清純な雰囲気で愛らしく（このあたりは好みの問題かもしれないが）、002は2001年版が18歳と若年化したこともあるが、1979年版の男臭さが捨て難い。他の戦士達についても、概ね1979年版が良いと思う。やはり、漫画とアニメは違うと思った。
音楽はトータルで2001年版だが、1979年版のOPは別格だ。脚本、演出は2001年版が大人のアニメとして楽しみやすい。
総じて言えば、アニメとして楽しむなら1979年版の魅力が大きいと思う。

最近でも「サイボーク００９」はアニメ化されてましたが、３０代~４０代の００９ファンには、「島村ジョーと言えば井上和彦」という人が多いと思います。

私も中学時代にリアルタイムでこの作品を見てましたが、キャラクター達が皆とても魅力的でしたし、ストーリーもコメディ・シリアス・恋愛と見所が一杯で、当時のアニメの中でも男女共にズバ抜けて人気が高かったと記憶してます。

最近オンエアの作品は四半世紀近く時が経っているせいか、キャラの考え方や世界観等がこの頃と微妙に違っているので、新００９でファンになった人が観ても色々な意味で楽しめると思いますよ。
発売がとーーーーっても待ち遠しいですね！！
