2003年、フレンチ・テクノ界の俊英ダフト・パンクと日本の漫画界の大御所・松本零士が合体したコラボレーションDVD。両者ががっちりタッグを組み、アルバム『ディスカバリー』の音楽に合わせて、約60分にわたって宇宙を股にかけたスケールの大きなSFファンタジー・アニメーションが繰り広げられる。ストーリーは遠く離れた惑星に住む青い肌のロック・バンドのメンバー4人が拉致され、悪徳マネージャー、ダークウッド伯爵によって地球で“クレッシェンドールズ”としてデビューさせられるというもの。彼らは大成功を収めるが、その裏には幾世紀にも及ぶ陰謀が…。その目的は？ はたして4人は故郷に戻ることが出来るのか！？
