仕事で毎日、毎日、数キロのじゃが芋の皮を剥いています。
これまで、持ち手がプラスチックの数百円の皮むき器をいくつか使ったことはありますが、ペティーナイフの方が使いやすくて早いので、十数年間ずっとペティーナイフで剥いていました。
この夏、アルバイトのためにピーラーが必要になり、ここのレビューを見てコレを買いました。
これまでの皮むき器とは切れ味が全く違います。滑るようにスースーと剥けます。使い勝手もとてもいいです。
ペティーナイフでよりも早く簡単に剥けるし、皮が薄く剥けるのでロスも少なくてすみます。
これを買ってからは、もうペティは使っていません。このピーラーが手放せません。
毎日１０キロのじゃが芋を剥いて２ヶ月が経ちました。気持ち、切れ味が落ちたような気がしますが、一般家庭では問題ないと思います。
ちなみに、レビューでも評判が良くて、刃の交換もできる「OXO Y型ピーラー 1057967」も先日購入しましたが、切れ味も、使い勝手も、このヘンケルスの方が数段優れていると思います。また、こちらの方が軽いので長く使っていても疲れにくいです。
ただ、刃の交換ができないので星一つ減点しましたが、次もやっぱりコレを買おうと思っています。

セラミック製やチタン製も使いましたが、
やはりコレが一番切れます。
セラミック製は、割れ、欠け、の可能性が
高いせいか、刃が厚く、切れ味は正直かなり鈍いです。
チタン製は、柔軟性の高い金属なので
マッタリとした切れ味でした。

これは、刃物メーカーの物なので、
他社の製品と比べてもみても
切れ味が素晴らしく、極薄に、
しかも、素早く、剥く事が出来て
かなり重宝してます。
野菜食が多い方にはオススメです。

海賊に捕まったら当然大量のじゃがいもの皮むきをやらさせることになるわけですが、そんなときでもこれさえあれば、鼻歌交じりに仕事ができます（しかもびっくりするくらい速く）。
切れ味の良さだけでなく、芽をとるための突起の使いやすさも特筆もの。手になじむ重さも心地良いです。
