少し値は張りますが、やはり映像付きと無しとでは、全く違います！
あの鍵盤を流れていくような手さばき、必見ですよ！

ただ、コメントがかぶってしまいますが、
あの『拍手のみ』はやめて欲しいですよね。
オーケストラのコンサートじゃないんだから…

………静かでいいけど。

今やゲーム音楽界で活躍する桜庭統(元DEJA-VU)のライブDVD。2003作
私は実際このライブに足を運んだのだが、客席には若い少年少女のゲームファンが9割で、
私のようにゲームをやったことのないプログレファンはごく少数だったように思う。
しかしながら、演奏が始まると、そこにはELPばりのキーボードプログレが展開し、
おそらく、変拍子やプログレという言葉すら知らないゲームファンたちはさぞ驚いたことだろう。
ムーグやハモンドなど、ヴィンテージキーボードの音色に少年たちがどう感じたかは分からないが
ときに即興をまじえて弾きまくる桜庭氏の姿は、まさしくプログレキーボーディストだったし、
GERARDでおなじみの長谷川氏のテクニカルなベースも圧巻で、
モヒカンのドラム中村氏ともどもノリノリで見事に変拍子をこなしていた。
ゲームミュージックのコンサートというだけあって、曲間に画面に映し出されるゲームのデモシーンは
私などには意味不明なのだが、たぶんゲームを知っているファンには思い入れがあるのだろう。
なんにしても、ゲーム云々を抜きにしても、純粋にキーボードトリオのプログレライブとして楽しめる。
DVDにはボーナスとしてスタジオライブの映像や、メンバーへのインタビューが入っていて、
控えめで物静かな桜庭氏の言葉の中に、ロックやプログレへの熱い思いが感じられる。

実際にライブに『行った』方には少々不満の残る内容かもしれません。
私も実際に行ったクチなのですが、編集がイマイチ臨場感に欠けるものとなっており、また（これはCDでも言える事なのですが）生では分からなかった細かなミスが目立ってしまうため、逆に生のライブの美しい記憶を壊しかねない・・・と感じました。

とはいえ、新曲やインタビュー、舞台裏の映像など、楽しめる要素は十分に用意されている他、桜庭氏の映像自体がかなり希少なものなので、購入する価値は十分あるかと思います。
