’80年に「ダンシング・オールナイト」のメガヒットで脚光を浴びた“もんた＆ブラザーズ”
のベスト盤です。　ハスキーで個性あふれるヴォーカルと、額の汗の飛び散るのが見えそう
な血気盛んな“もんた”が満載で、片や「振り向けばジェラシー」「赤いアンブレラ」では
歌唱力の確かさをじっくり聴かせており、大橋純子とのデュエット曲も魅力的です。　
再びの活躍を切望しています。

もんた＆ブラザースというと、「ダンシングオールナイト」しか知らない方が多いと思いますが、私は「赤いアンブレラ」の方が強く印象に残っていて、ずっと探していました。門田さんの、門田さんにしか出せないあのヴォイスでしっとり聴かせてくれます。ジーンと来ること間違いなしです。大橋純子さんとのデュエットも、お互いの独特の声質と、声量で元気にさせてくれます。シングルコンプリートというのも嬉しいですね。

懐かしい。。。
昔持っていたレコードも12年前の引越しの時に処分してしまい、ずっと忘れていた”もんた＆ブラザーズ”。ある日、ふと想い出し、ネットでＣＤを探し見つけて即購入。
いいっ！もんたはいいっ！！
当時、曲の歌詞に深く入り込むことのなかった自分が、”ＫＯＢＥ”を初めて聞いた時に目の前に浮かんできた情景に涙した若き日を懐かしみながら聴いています。
