この人は本当にうたが上手い。上手いと言っても聴き手の感情をわしづかみにしてブンブンと揺さぶるといったような乱暴なやり方ではなくて、

彼女の声の強弱や高低や音色の微妙で繊細な変化、揺らぎ、ふるえをじっと耳を澄まして追いかけるうちに、聴き手の感覚・感情に微妙で繊細な共振の波が広がっていくというような、そういう上手さだと思う。このアルバムの場合なんか特にね。

空を見上げると遠い高いところからなにかがゆっくりと降り落ちてきてやさしく自分を包み込んでいく、みたいなイメージをデビューアルバム以来何度となく描いてきた彼女だけど、そんなさねよし的イメージが、カバー曲アルバムである｢夜光杯｣において再び描き出される。

耳を澄まして彼女の声に聴き入る私たちを、ゆっくりと空から降り落ちてきた月の光の羽衣で包み込む。そんな風にして彼女は私たちを癒していくのだろう。

「花の街」「My favorite things」「雨に唄えば」「オーシャンゼリゼ」
オリジナルアルバムにも数々の名カヴァーを収録していた実吉さんの、
カヴァー＆セルフカヴァー＆オリジナル曲集が、待ちに待っての登場です。

これまで人から「どんな音楽聴くの？」と訪ねられても、
なぜか正面きって『さねよしいさ子っ！』と答えられなかった僕あなた私。

メルヘンだねぇ~の一言でかたされてちょっと悲しくなった僕あなた私。

どうせいさ子の良さはＣＤだけじゃわかってもらえないからと思って、
夜毎一人でライヴに通った僕あなた私。

この唄うたいのお嬢さんって、もしかしてファンが思っているより
もっともっといやもっと、とてつもない宝石なんじゃないの？と
事あるごとに感じていた僕あなた私。

もっといける！もっ!といける！もっと届く！！
と、いつももどかしかった僕あなた私・・・・・良かったね。

スゴすぎてモーレツすぎて、誰とも何ともまじわれず、

カバーブーム。過去のヒット曲の力を借りてもう一花咲かせよう、という世界とは次元が違う本作。売れ線アーティストは見習ってほしいな。正直この選曲とジャケット写真で恐ろしく地味な作品になるのでは、とも思いましたが聴いてビックリでした。音楽ファンには文句なくお奨め。売れ線アーティスト好きには絶対奨められないアルバム。
