最近のゆら帝のスタジオ作品は、昔からのファンにはどうにも嫌われる傾向があるようで、「３」までは許せても、めまい・しびれには「気に入らない」ときっぱり言ってしまってるファンも多い。坂本氏の思惑が何処にあるのか、リスナーはまったく知る由もないのだが、このライブ盤を聞けばわかる。楽曲の質はまったく落ちてはいない。

坂本氏は「ファンに2枚同時リリースで迷惑かけてしまったから」と言っている通り、値段が安いのは内容が適当だからではない。内容は2800円じゃないのが今更ながら不思議なほどに洗練されている。一曲目からして「3x3x3」の「わかってほしい」を想起させる轟音。なんとも気だるい音楽と化しながら、リスナーをあざ笑うかのように次々と変化していく。2曲目「誰だっけ？」に顕著なように、もはやスタジオ盤とは姿も形も別物と化した楽曲達を聞けば、古いゆら帝ファンも納得するのではないだろうか。「恋がしたい」「ボタンが一つ」「星になれた」のような「めまい」からのメロディサイドの曲も冴えに冴えまくり、素晴らしい。「夜行性の生き物三匹」は、おそるべき轟音ビートと化し、「貫通」はより凶悪・難解になっている。
なんといったって1000円。2800円でもおつりが来るライブ盤、お勧めです。

あの素晴らしかったライヴがこんなとんでもないアルバムになった。
ガサガサの音質で鳴らされる轟音ギターノイズ。張りつめた緊張感。
そんな音の波を突き抜けてしっかり胸に届く坂本慎太郎の声とメロディ。
しかもこれで1000円なんだからうれしくなっちゃうよな！
だいたい日本のCDは高すぎる！こんな金額とっといてコピー禁止だとか

輸入禁止だとか言うな！ふざけんな！とか常々思っているわけだが、
こんなに価値観と価格を破壊してくれる素敵なアルバムも珍しいよ。
3000円でいいから完全収録盤で2枚組にしてもらいたいくらい。

日本のバンドなのがうれしいですね。こういうバンドに
スポットが当たらない日本はダメですね。
