今回のアルバムはとにかく妖艶です。ジャジーだったり、おもちゃっぽい音楽もあったこれまでのアルバムと違って、艶かしいです。両面仕様で片面がCDもう一面はDVDになっています。DVDは三曲目のプロモーションビデオですが、生駒さんの操るアコーディオンが素敵です。蛇腹が赤く、ボディが黒いので、黒猫かカラスが、赤い口をあけてまとわりつくように見え、魅力的な生き物のようです。

何時の時代か？何処の国か？わからない異国情緒溢れる物悲しく、切ない映像的な音の数々！！一時のトム・ウエイツに通ずる音世界。エゴ・ラッピン等もそうですが、過去の偉大な大衆音楽を”今”の視点で捉え直すと言う試みは、素晴らしい事だと思います。この二人組は前面支持して行きたい！！！

去年の冬,古びた花屋の店内で底冷えの寒さに震えながら聴いたライブの音が,再び聴く者に過去の映像を甦らせる。そのイメージは聴く人が経験した人生の量と質が多く,高いほど深みを増していくのだ。パリ,ブタペスト,イスタンブール,モロッコ‥‥ママミルクとともにどこへ旅立つのか,それはあなたの過去の人生にかかっている。
わたしの場合,それはベネツィアの冬のサンマルコ広場。アドリア海の冷たい風が訪れる人を無口にし,広場に面したカフェの太ったカマレ-ロは大アクビをしている。また裏通りの寂れたトラットリアでは店内に客がいるにも拘らず片隅でまかないのパスタを食べている少年が食事の間中,女主人に怒鳴り散らされている‥‥
さてあなたはこれからどんな旅をするのでしょう?なまめかしく,それでいて軽やかなアコ-ディオンとコントラバスが織りなす調べに身を任せて目を閉じてみれば‥‥
