日本語版MSオフィスについてくる言語辞書（Proofing tool）は英語だけ。仕事でスペイン語やフランス語を混ぜて使いたいときにはとても困ります。そこで利用したいのがこのツール。ヨーロッパの言語などは軒並みカバーされています。
多言語環境で仕事をする人には必須のアイテムだと思います。

ウィンドウズ９８の時代からＰｒｏｏｆｉｎｇ　Ｔｏｏｌを利用していましたが、最新のこのソフトはとにかくインストールも一層簡単で、非常に使いやすく、多国語環境構築には不可欠なアイテムです。とりわけフランス語学習者にとっては、キーボード配列がフランス式、カナダ式、スイス式等と選べるのは好都合です。意外にも知られていないようですが、フランス語はカナダ式キーボードが一番英文との相性がよく、打ち間違いが非常に少ないです。フランス語の場合、どうしてもフランス式にこだわるchauvinな変わり者？が多いようですが、カナダ式が圧倒的と言えるほど有利です。ただ一つの難点は、どこにアクサン記号があるのかはっきりさせるのに、苦労することです。各種言語のキーボード配列がすぐには見つけることができず、スクリーンキーボードの項目を検索してやっと見つけることができました。これも大文字・小文字の配列がすぐにはわからず、こうした点さえ改善されれば、５つ星と言えます。
