自分のしたいことをするＲＰＧ。目的は与えられておらず自分でつくるのです。

世界観は剣と魔法を駆使するファンタジー調ですね。銃などもあります。世界は４つから構成されていて、西洋や中国、日本などがモデルに
なっています。武器などもロングソードから日本刀までそれに対応したものが出てきます。

このゲームのプレースタイルは大まかに二つに分けられます。一つは善プレイ、もう一つが悪プレイです。

善プレイは宅配、護衛、救出、退治、討伐など良い依頼をこなし、最終的には町の英雄になったりします。基本的な流れは酒場で依頼を受ける→依頼をこなす→報酬を得る→また依頼をうけるの繰り返しだと思います。お金が増えれば良い武器が買えるし、家を買ったりできます。酒場には他の冒険者もいて仲間に誘ったりできて、異性の仲間と信頼度が上がれば結婚できます。子供も生まれます。子供が１６歳になるとその子で冒険に出れたりします。

悪プレイはというと、店から品物を盗む、他の冒険者に襲い掛かり、
殺して物品を奪う、宅配で任された品物を盗む。そんなことばかりやってると、そのうち『闇ギルド』という所から声をかけられます。そこでは暗殺や密輸などの悪事の依頼しかありません。悪逆非道を尽くして悪の帝王として恐れられる、そういう事も可能です。

他にも死闘大会、カード大会、王の試練、レアアイテム沢山などイベントややりこみ要素がつまってます。で、そこまでは良いんです。残念なことが一つ。
それはマップが狭いということです。地図みたいな一枚絵のマップの上をいったりきたり・・・これでは冒険している気分にはなれない！！
それで星３個。このシリーズで評判が良いのは『II』と『前途への道標』ですね。ただ、アマゾンでは在庫ないようですが。

前作（前途への道標）との違いは、魔法がカード式ということです。
敵を倒すとカードがもらえて、そのカードが魔法になる。また、そのカードを使ったミニゲームがある。
ゲームは楽しいのですが、MPだけ気にして魔法をがんがん使えないのが残念。

この製品のうりである、HPを通して別の人の世界を旅するというのはまだ未経験です。

冒険をはじめて、それなりに強くなって、仲間を見つけて、結婚して、子供を産んで、引退して・・・・
その子供で新たに冒険をはじめる。
冒険の様は、時に吟遊詩人の歌となる。

オンラインゲームより、ある意味オンラインゲームらしいかもしれない。
このシリーズ大好きです。

このシリ-ズをやった事のある人なら難なく楽しめるでしょう。反対にこのゲ-ムはＦＦ等と違い主人公がキャラとして戦闘時以外出てきませんのでとっつき難さは高いかもしれません。インスト-ルするとＨＰを開いてサ-バに繋ぐタイプのＲＰＧなのでＡＤＳＬ回線がお薦めですよ。
