1977年11月18日~1978年2月10日、朝日放送にて放映されたドラマ。安藤広重が描いた「東海道五十三次」の絵には、実は殺してもらいたい相手がそっと描き込まれていたという設定のもと、広重からの以来を果たすべく旅を続ける旅芸人一座を描く。出演は近藤正臣、古今亭志ん朝、ジュディ・オングほか。

山田五十鈴、近藤正臣、古今亭志ん朝、ｼﾞｭﾃﾞｨ･ｵﾝｸﾞ、芦屋雁之介のメンバー全員が殺しをするというのはシリーズ唯一。話自体もとてもよくできているのはもちろんですが、メンバー全員が手を掛ける殺し技も華麗で派手。山田五十鈴のクールな演技も最高です。

基本的なことは他の皆様のレビューの通りですのでそれ以外を…。詳しくは書けませんが、七話で手についた血を握り締めて声を張り上げ、さらに最後の舞台を見送る前に気付け薬をやさしく差し出す近藤正臣さんの演技に泣かされました。中村主水シリーズの必殺しか知らない方にぜひ見てほしい一品です。

山田五十鈴、古今亭志ん朝、芦屋雁之助、ジュディ・オング、近藤正臣の
メンバーのバラエティに富んだ（驚きの！！）殺し技で
旅の最後まで魅力的です。

各話のエピソードも面白く、
石橋蓮司、加賀まりこ、ピーター、綿引勝彦、
ワンシーンながら、強烈なあき竹城！
岸田森、美声を披露する西崎みどり、、などなど
ゲスト俳優さんにも注目です。
