CDは持っていたけど、DVDのために迷わず購入！！…ヒトコト、買ってよかった！！CDにはボーナストラックが２曲！！他の曲までに衝撃は覚えなかったけど、この２曲Hoobastankファンなら絶対聴くべき。CDはハードでかっこいいHoobastankが味わえるのに対して、DVDでは彼らのオチャメな素顔やおもしろいトークとかが見れる！！彼ら…こんなにおもしろい人だったのね！！特にDougの｢パイナップルの歌｣は最高！(笑)素の彼らを見て、もーっと彼らが好きになること間違いなし。もちろん、PV２曲をいつでも見れるようになるのも嬉しい！

ただ、DVDのEPKとMaking of "The reason"は映像ほとんど同じ。Making~は、ただEPKを縮めた感じだった。(ちょっとはEPKにない映像もあったが)なんで同じのを２つも？と謎。そこはちょっとショックだったかな。

けど、それでもhoobastank好きな人にも、まだそうでない人にも…TheReasonのアルバムもう持ってる人にも、まだ持ってない人にも…私はこの"デラックス・ツアー・エディション"をオススメしたい。1つでCoolとFunnyの２つのhoobastankが味わえるのだから！

出るって知って、即買い決定。
CDの中身は一緒だけど、DVDが買う価値あり。PVが入ってるのがすごく嬉しいじゃんか！ノリノリなのが大好きなOut Of Controlも、ちょっとハラハラなThe Reasonも見れて、メイキングやオフショットもあるなんて…鼻血出そう…

すでに結成１０年、長くマイナーで努力して、
デビューアルバムにして大ヒット、だが今作の一時的なセールスの低迷。
そしてレコード会社との契約を賭け放った大逆転の珠玉の名曲「Ｔｈｅ　Ｒｅａｓｏｎ」。
このアルバム一枚にしてもかなりドラマティックだ。
彼らの曲を聴いていると迷いが無い。

とにかく捉われるものは何もなくただ自分の道を突っ走っている。
その疾走感と、時折見せる人間らしくみんなが共感できるハート。
それを持ち合わせているからこそ、
彼らの音楽は個性を持ちきらめいている。

内容のほうは「Ｔｈｅ　Ｒｅａｓｏｎ」、
「Ｏｕｔ　ｏｆ　ｃｏｎｔｒｏｌ」、「Ｅｓｃａｐｅ」がかなり好きだ。

Ｔｈｅ　Ｒｅａｓｏｎは特に難しい歌詞も無く、
異常に演出もくさくなく、かといって寂しくも無い。
それどころか何か心から共感できるものがあり、
心を揺さぶる力までもを持っている。
これなら大逆転も当然といったものだ。

他の楽曲も以前のような感じになっていて。
なんだかんだでメロディが最後には頭に残っている。

実はうるさくやっていようと最後には印象的になっているのがいい。
ダグラス・ロブがヴァン・ヘイレンが好きだと言っていたので、
こんなところが影響を受けている。
彼らもやんちゃだったが（デイヴ在籍時は、かな？）音楽性は、
一本気だったし、やっぱり記憶の底に残っているものが多い。
（エディのギターの影響多し、だが・・・。）

彼らも匹敵するようなしっかりとしたメロディラインと、
スピリットを持っている。
大衆的で憎めないところはＺＺＴｏｐにもにてるかも？？

そんなエッセンスが絶妙に混じって素晴らしいできになってます。
確実に前作超えてます。（当社比）　笑
