　ゴスペル畑出身だけあって歌唱力は折り紙つき。凛とした歌声で時にはパワフルにシャウトしたりもするが，決して濃厚過ぎず，程よくメロウなところがいい。いわゆるアーバン・コンテポラリー向きのヴォーカル・スタイルだ。
　そういう意味では，'80年代のニューヨーク・サウンドを彷彿させるタイトでメロウな「Gotta Have You」やブラコン風のバラード「Remedy」が，彼女の魅力を最大限に発揮しているように思える。のほほんとしたレゲエ・タッチの「Fly Away」は可憐で微笑ましい。売れ線といえばそれまでだが，メロディアスなバラード「Made For You」もいい。「Loving You」に「上を向いて歩こう」までもサンプリング／ブレンドした「Baby U Know」は，ちょっとやり過ぎかという気もするが，曲がいいので許してしまおう。
　ただ，中途半端にヒップホップした「Where You Are」はいかがなものか。ここまでやるなら，同じ時期にアルバムをリリースしたTeedra Mosesの方が上。というわけで，佳曲が結構あるのに，余りにも色々なことをやりすぎて焦点がぼやけてしまったところがあり，その辺が残念。「Gotta Have You」や「Remedy」の路線で固めてくれていたら，もっといいアルバムになったのでは・・・。

DJMixなどに入っていてずっと気になっていました。
一生懸命調べてTarralynだと分かったのですが、そのへんのCDショップにないんです。迷わず買い、期待通りだと思いました。
ちょっと有名になったbaby　U　knowももちろんよかったのですが、私は個人的にgoing　crazyが好きです。独特のリズムにTarralynの確かな歌唱力の太くて澄んだ声と絶妙にマッチしていました。
ゆっくりとしたバラードでTarralynの美声をじっくり聞くのもいいですが、going　crazyのようなリズミカルな曲や、fly　awayのようなレゲエももっと歌って欲しいです。
