全米No.1アルバムになった前作から2年半ぶりのアルバム。プロデュースはジェリー・フィン（ランシド、グリーン・デイなど）、キュアーのロバート・スミスがゲスト参加。エンハンスドCD仕様でメンバーが全製作を担った“新しいアートのフォーマットを築き上げた（メンバー談）”ヴィデオ・クリップを収録（約20分）。

   Blink-182流のポップ・パンクとは、いつだって単に楽しいだけのものではなかったのだが、この6作目のスタジオ・アルバムが「音響体験」を味わせてくれるとは意外だった。ギター / ベース / ドラムというフォーマットは維持されているが、本作の遊び心とリリシズムは、Blink-182のサウンドの幅を広げるものだ。

 「Violence」と「Stockholm Syndrome」に出てくるテンポの変動や沈黙（に近い状態）は、ポスト・パンクの手法からの援用であり、バンドのトレードマークである威勢のいい上昇感に新味をもたらしている。後者で改造ピアノが使われていることから察するに、若き日の彼らはサイケデリック・ポップの名盤として名高いスモール・フェイセスの『Ogden's Nut Gone Flake』を聴きこんでいたのではないか。

   2001年のアルバム『Take Off Your Pants and Jacket』と同様に、一聴すると孤独というテーマが浮かび上がってくる。ただし、今回は以前より大きな意味での孤独である。人間と犬のカップルを祝福するおバカ・バンドから少しは成長したかって？ もちろんだ。とにかく聴いて損はない1枚である。（Rickey Wright, Amazon.com）

もともとお茶らけたのも好きだったけど、たまに見せる真面目な彼らも大好きでした。
『Stay Together For The Kids』なんかかなりの名曲です。

そんな感じだったので今作での成長ぶりには衝撃を覚えるとともに、素直に嬉しかった。
特に『Stockholm Syndrome』なんて震えるほどかっこいい。

何だか最近のニュースを見ていると内部分裂もあるみたいで、惜しくもこれで解散かな？という感じもするけど、
その前に最高傑作を落としてくれたから、いい意味でファンとしては解散への心構えは万端。
でも可能ならばやはり3人の絶妙なバランスを存分に発揮した作品にまた出会える日を拝みたいものです。

Always I miss youですよ〜。

めっさ楽しみにしてました。ブリンク大好きだしトムの声は寝る前に聞くのにうってつけだし。
率直な感想は、『マジやんなあ~』
歌詞めっちゃ真面目だよ！どーしたん！と。（苦笑
トムのボックスカー・レイサーもマジだったし、それっぽくなるとは聞いてたけど
ジャケット写真とかも真面目すぎて正直吃驚した。それもいいんだけどね。
I Miss Youとかホロリとくるし。
でもやっぱり、全裸で街走ってる彼らが懐かしい。じゃかじゃかしてる音も懐かしいなァ（遠い目）　でも期待はずれじゃ決してない。ブリンクはブリンクのまんまです。

かなりの力作じゃないでしょうか！？
曲の幅が広く、音楽的にも今までよりダントツで深い。でもやっぱりブリンクの前からあった哀愁感とかシンプルさが前にでてるんですごい聴きやすい。

曲構成がしっかりしてる気するし、曲のつなぎ部分も工夫されててドラマチック！

トラヴィスのドラムも相変わらずかっこよい…
方向性を変えていってもこういうアルバムが作れるのはやっぱすごい。メンバーそれぞれがいろんなところで活動してるけど、その三人のblink182ってバンドの中での集大成なんかな？前にやってたbox car racerとか今やってるplus44とつながってる感じもある

今までのポップなアルバムもいいけど、こういうアルバムのほうがずっと聴き続けれると思う！
普通のパンクより実験的なもの、いろんな要素を含んだものが好きな人はマスト！このアルバムはパンクアルバムとは言えないですが！
