   2003年夏、メタリカやリンプ・ビズキットと全米サーキットした空前の「サマー・サニタリアム・ツアー」から、8月に行われたテキサス州ヒューストンとダラスの2公演の模様を収めたライヴCD＆DVDだ。現在まさに“旬”のラウド・ロック・バンドである彼らのステージを堪能することが出来る。夏場のデイ・ショーということでライティングはほとんど使われていないが、大観衆の熱狂ぶりはそれだけで一大スペクタクル。ヘヴィ・ロックもテクノもヒップホップも呑み込む懐の深さを持つバンドに成長した彼らの勇姿は、とてつもなくデカくそびえ立って見える。（山崎智之）

サマーサニタリアムツアーからのライヴDVD！！！
16ミリテープで撮ったという映像は美しく迫力満点でメンバーの姿を映画のワンシーンのようにとらえている！！
演奏的にも最高なパフォーマンスを届けており、IN THE ENDの日本盤のライブ音源に比べると格段にうまくなって、1st発表後の長いツアーによって大物の風格すら漂うライヴバンドに成長したことをこのDVDは伺わせてくれる。

ただ、DVDは演奏がうますぎる(多少の手直しは入っているのだろうが)のと音質のよさが災いしたのか、音的にはなんだかライヴっぽさがでていない気が…CDはバッチリかっこいいライヴな感じが出ているのに…再生しているプレイヤーはDVDもCDも同じなのにこの違いはやっぱりミックスだろうか？とやや疑問が…

それにメンバーが全身全霊パフォーマンスをしている中、アリーナは盛り上がっているのにスタンド席の埋まり具合はイマひとつで、すでに席についている人達もメタリカ目当てなのか座っていて興味なさげに足組んじゃってる人がほとんどなのが悲しい、メタリカのツアーだからまぁ仕方ないけど(涙)

すごくかっこいいライヴバンドなのだから次は観客総立ち＆大合唱の単独ライヴ映像を納めた作品を期待したい！

因みにUS盤は外箱におもいっきりリージョン1と書いてあって届いたとき少し焦りましたが、ちゃんと日本向けDVDプレーヤーで再生できます(この作品に限ってです間違えないでください！！)。日本盤には日本語字幕はなく、内容もライナーがあるかないかの違いなのではっきり言って価格面から言ってUS盤が正解でしょう。

あっ、一瞬メタリカのラーズが出てきて、最後にもクレジットされてます(笑)

ライヴのCDにDVDは日本でも観れるし
国内盤よりかなり安いしとってもお買い得
違いは対訳とかくだらないライナーくらいでしょう

最高です。
このDVDでLinkinParkはかなりの層に広まったと思います。
ファンはもちろん、友達に勧められて見る人も、
この独特の持ち味に引き込まれるでしょう。
CDの方を聴いていても、あまりにオリジナルと差がなく
驚かされるばかりです。むしろシャウトなどより激しさが増し、
聴いていると思わず叫びたくなります。

ギターやドラムの音がはっきり聴けるのも魅力で、
Linkinの質の高さを見せつけられます。
ぜひ購入して、チェスターの歌唱力とマイクの弾丸のごとく飛ぶ
ラップに酔いしれてください。即買いの一本
