テキサスの4人組バンド、EITSの3rd。前作のどこか殺伐とした雰囲気が漂う渦巻くような轟音に代わり、今作では透き通るように流麗なギターのアルペジオが幾重にも積み重なり、そこに小気味良いドラム(前作と比べて録音状態が格段にUP)の音が刻み込まれ、徐々に昇りつめていきます。ギターのどこか感傷的なメロディーが本当に美しく、また一つ一つの音に加えて、曲の最後の最後で爆発する部分に至るまでの構成にもこのバンドの卓越したセンスが感じられ、聴き手を確実に最後の高みへと導いてくれます。
MOGWAIの新作が気に入った方にも自信を持ってお薦めできる作品だと思います。是非聴いてみてください。

前作でみられたようなモグワイ直系の轟音は影を潜めています。
また前作で顕著であったゴッドスピード~モグワイの大味的な感じは今作からはあまり感じられません。その代わり流麗なギターワークが冴えます。

曲数が少なく、もっと長い時間でここまで聞かせられたら評価ももっと上がるかと思われます。
