   ハワイに移住しマイペースな音楽活動を続けている杉山清貴の、前作から約1年4か月ぶりのオリジナル・アルバム。デビュー20周年にあたる2003年のリリースということもあってか、オメガトライブ時代の再演「JOANNA」があったりと、これまでの活動を集大成した色合いが濃い作品という印象を受ける。自身のバンド、KT SUNSHINE BANDとの息のあったコラボレーションはあいかわらずリラックス・ムード満点で、心地よい。

   先の「JOANNA」と先行シングル「Wishing your love」は、オメガトライブ時代から数々の名曲を提供してきた林哲司作品で、極上のAORに仕上がっている本盤のハイライト・トラック。ボーナスとして「First Finale」「EXiT」のライヴ・ヴァージョンを収録している。（木村ユタカ）

デビュー20周年記念にもなった、1年半ぶりのニュー・オリジナル・アルバム。ライヴ映像のDVD付き。全体的に穏やかでゆったりした楽曲が多く、本人の心の平穏を物語っているよう。が、一方では世の出来事に心痛む心情も表現されている。

聴くと青く暖かい海につかり、波に揺られている気分になった。
オメガ時代からソロ初期にかけての都会的な涼やかさが以前より控えめになったがその分、包むこむようにまろやかでやさしい歌声になった杉山清貴の歌が満喫できる。
一曲目の"Heart of the sea"が特にそれらが溢れていた。
あと、林哲司氏が手がけた"JOANNA"と"Wishing your love
"の収録はほんのりノスタルジーを感じ、うれしくなる。

夏オトコとして有名な彼のNewアルバム。以前のような「夏が定番！」というスタンスは若干影を潜め、もっと雄大なシチュエーション、いわゆる大地の営みや、そこから授かる恩恵といったテーマを歌詞の随所に散りばめている。かといっても単なる自然派志向ではなく、必ずそこかしこに「愛」という存在が込められたアルバムだ。ハワイに根ざして久しい彼ならではの、大自然と愛とが共存した作品とも言える。出演した映画の主題歌1など新曲のほか、後半にはオメガトライブ時代の曲なども織り交ぜ、新たな一面が楽しめると思う。

前作の「Aloe Vera 99％」もそうでしたが、肩の力がほどよく抜けていて、聞いていてとても気持ちのいいアルバムです。
誰かを愛すること、海をはじめとしたNatureへの想いが気持ちよく詰まっていて、気持ちいい風を受けているカンジです。
空を見上げること、風を感じることを忘れていたら、この１枚を是非聞いてみて欲しいデス。
