4.0 out of 5 stars この時代の作品としては、まとまってると思う, 2007/2/18
TVと映画で、世界や登場人物を共有しながら、別のストーリーを描くというもので、
今でこそ似た形の作品が、でてきたものの
（TVや映画、漫画やゲームで展開したり、『踊る大捜査線』のスピンオフなんかもこれに含む）
この作品の公開当時は、まだ珍しい形態で、アイデアに驚いた上、
又、全編デジタルビデオカメラによる撮影（当時はこれも珍しかった）とのことで、
各界からの注目も集めていた作品です。

内容は、サイコホラーとしては上手くまとまっている出来でしたが、
『悪魔を憐れむ歌』（1997年アメリカ）の『殺意』が伝染する部分や、
液体が意思を持って動くシーンは、『パラサイト・イヴ』（1997年日本）でも観た気がする
寄せ集めっぽい感じも否めませんでした。
でも、観て損はないかな。

正体不明のナニカが連続殺人の犯人なんですが、一応別の次元から来た人間という事になってますが最後に登場するそいつを見たら人間とはとても思えないです。だから人間の悪意って言うテーマがイマイチ伝わらないっていうか悪い言い方すると気取ってるって感じがしてしまいます。テーマをあまり気にせずサスペンス・ホラーとして見たらなかなか面白くて特に前半はテンポがよくてかなりいい感じだし江口洋介と原田芳雄のコンビが相性よくて楽しいです。

　話は大したことないのだが・・・
　「松雪泰子」と「江口洋介」の二人の演技の上手さには驚いたというか､イイ意味で期待を裏切ってくれたので嬉しかった｡この二人の演技は観ていてチットモ違和感が無かった。タダの人気俳優ではない。それから私の二人を観る目が変わったのは言うまでも無い。その事を発見するだけでもこの作品は意義があると思った。

ストーリーをまともに描けない人間が陥りがちな浅薄な意味や哲学に溺れ世界の真実を捉えたかの様に錯覚してしまった典型的な作品です。
