映画館で観ました。

予告編や雑誌のコメント、チラシ等を見た感じでは
「映像が面白くて、シュールな笑いの映画」
だと思ってましたが
思ってたよりも、筋があり、わかりやすい映画です


リストラ、詩を書かなくなり入院した息子、
大渋滞、生贄、十字架産業
などの要素。

ホッパーやマグリッドの絵のような、
どこか人間くささを感じない消毒されたかのような空間。
実際にマグリッド的なシュールな場面も

長廻しのシーンが多いあたりも凄い。
とくにラストシーンの遠くから歩いてくる幽霊のタイミング等は
信じられませんでした。


・BGMを奏でる登場人物
・のこぎり手品の犠牲になったおじさんの後ろで切られるチーズ(？)
・奇妙な動作のデモ行進
・「詩を書いていた」にこだわる父親
・振り子のように揺れる十字架
・水晶を回す会議
・指が挟まれる人々・・・
等々は基本的に笑う事もできるんですが、
微妙に笑いづらい


低予算で作ったと言われてますが、
あれだけの人数を集めたり、
人のいない場所を確保したりする事を考えると
「本当かな・・・？」とも思いました。
そこらへんの映画より、金がかかってそうな雰囲気です


御終わった後に余韻の残るいい映画です

６０年代のヨーロッパ映画などが好きな方にお勧めです。文学的な、雰囲気重視の映画です。
異常なくらいに完璧すぎる映像、色使いが、ブラックなストーリー展開と融合して、何とも言えないマニアックな世界を創り出しています。
評価できると思われるところは、特殊な映像技術を一切使っていない神経質で繊細な映像、日常的なモチーフを幻想的に表現しているところなど。
娯楽至上の、巨額の制作費に物言わせて作られる最近の米映画などに不満をお持ちの、芸術としての映画に興味をお持ちの方は是非。
ストーリーに引き込まれるような映画がお好きな方には不向きだと思います。
個人的には、今まで観た映画のうちでダントツ一番ですが・・・。

精神を病む詩人の息子と、手品に失敗する手品師、会社の危機に脅かされる太ったオヤジ。
脈絡があるようでないような登場人物たちが
ひたすら静かに繰り広げる
もの悲しくてクスリとおかしい、惑星ワールドに魅せられました。

CGを使わずにアナログに作られた映像で監督が表現しようとしたのは
少々ブラックなユーモアにくるまれた、アナログな人間たちの悲哀ではないでしょうか？

大作ではありませんが
繰り返し見ても、じんわり味が出てくる映画です。
