「萌え」をメインテーマに活動中の”UNDER17”ですが、やっとベスト
アルバムが出ることになりました！

ベストアルバムといえば、今まで発表になった曲がただ１枚に集められて
いるだけのアルバムも多いですが、このベストアルバムは違います。
ゲームに使われたワンコーラスしか発表されていない曲のほとんどが、
フルコーラスになって収録されてます。

半分近くの曲がフルコーラス初出のこのアルバムは買いでしょう。

　代表曲を集めたベスト盤１枚目。重要な曲がズラリと並びますが、全体を通して聞くと、ストレートな押しの強い曲調が多くて、もう少し引きが欲しいような気もしますね、贅沢かな(^^;)。

頭から「恋のミルキーウェイ」、「いちごGO! GO!」、「OS NO YES」とノリのいい曲が続きます。「いちごGO! GO!」はアンセブ中１、２を争うヤバい歌詞(笑)。「OS NO YES」は元は駆け引きをテーマにしたひねった内容だったものを、土壇場で明るい歌詞に書き直したそうです。そのおかげか、ライブではここ１番で歌われる景気の良い曲になってますね。

「浮気してもええよ」は関西弁でアクが強い(^^;)が、ノリの良さと切なさが同居した独特の雰囲気。「気持ちとまらないない」は内容は恋心ノンストップ!　なのにテンポは軽快なミドル。そんなとこに言葉と裏腹な逡巡が表現されているのかも?

「天罰！エンジェルラビィ」は全編ほとんど"キメ"で出来ているような曲で、ライブでは無茶苦茶盛り上がります、実際、聞いてすぐに覚えられる(^^;)。「Angelic Magic」はド派手なイントロと軽やかなメロディーの対照の妙。これも覚え易い曲で、ライブ受けが良い。こっちは逆に裏表のない真っ直ぐな感じがいいですね。

「おかしなオンナノコ」も何気にエロい歌(^^;)。更に、「ぽぽたん」は頭の「わたしイッちゃう!!」でのけぞります。いえその次に「勇気だして言っちゃう!!」と続くんですけどね。どちらも曲はホワホワでノリノリ。「みいたんの魔法でポン」は小池氏のニューウェーブ風な曲で、微妙にひねったメロディーなんですが、ミックス的にも、もう少し凝ると良い気が。

「Extentions」は"拡張子"のことだそうな。好きな人のことをファイルにするなら、ファイル名の後の拡張子は「．友情」か「．愛情」か。意味のわかる人なら、グッと来るはず。イントロのスペーシーな広がりが絶品。ラストの「こたえ」は「ぽぽたん」のエンディング曲ですが、歌詞はメッセージというか、アンセブ自身の"想い"を歌にしたような。「今のわたしはひとつの点でしかないけれど　あなたをきっと愛した時に線になれたら」。草の根的な活動からリスナーを増やしていったアンセブだからこその、曲でしょう。

これまでのゲームの主題歌などで使用されていたＵＮＤＥＲ１７の楽曲群が詰まった記念すべき１ｓｔアルバム。美少女ゲームという狭義で勘違いされがちなジャンルに敢えて実名で挑み、成功を収めてきた彼（女）らだが、幅広い音楽性の裏打ちと圧倒的なポップセンス（ヴォーカルの桃井はるこは幼少からアイドルなどのポップソングを多く聴き育っている）、そして日本語特有の韻の踏み方とヴァーチャル感覚あふれる歌詞は十二分に一般的なレベルでも群を抜いていると思う。普遍的は「愛」を語った”こたえ”はその代表だろう。
