個人的には１９話『あくび名人』の演出の繊細さがすごく好きです。

１年生の頃からお付き合いしてきた６人の彼女たちが、同級生の「余裕あるよねー」の言葉にふと見せる戸惑い。高校生活の日常の中ですべて変わらないように思ってきたけど、いつの間にか自分たちも大人の入り口に差し掛かっていたんだと、彼女が気づく瞬間の表情の見事さ。あるいは、別の生き方もあると気づいたにゃもとゆかり先生の微妙な表情の変化。キャラクターの性格を少しずらしてみた演出にドキドキさせられます。

その繊細な演出をギャグの方で生かしてみせたのが２２話『ナイスですよ』。大阪の危険なネボケ！丁寧な演出がギャグを際立たせて、何度観てもゲラゲラ笑っちゃいます。ところで、注目なのがエンディングクレジット。原画スタッフの中にちよちゃんの声優、金田朋子さんがクレジットされているのですが、さて、どこの部分を担当されたのでしょうか？それをチェックするのも楽しい、これはシリーズ中屈指の傑作揃いのＤＶＤでしょう。
