　Gacktは、しばしばファンを惑わせる。
　このアルバム、まず最初の♪Dybbukのいきなりのラップ調には
驚かされる。Gacktをモデルにしたゲーム武刃街のTVCMに使われた
♪mind forest が出色か。
　そして同じ年に出した♪君が追いかけた夢♪月の歌♪Last Songなどの
シングル曲とそのカップリングをそのまま入れられていることを知ったとき、
こちらのほうは驚くというよりも、実は少々失望したものだ。
　ただ、今、少し時を経て再びこのアルバムを手にしたとき、MOON project
の終結であるのだから、これは必然だったのだ、と思えるからとても不思議。

　ライブでだけ歌われてCD化されていなかった♪君が待っているから、
Gackt&HYDEのコラボレーション♪オレンジの太陽　が秀逸で貴重である。
　MOON project を追わなかった人でも、これを聴くだけでも購入する
価値があるかも知れない。
　GacktのMOON projectを追った人には懐かしい記憶が甦るアルバム。

買って帰り、いつもながらの独特なケースを開いてみてビックリでした。
曲を聴きながら、歌詞カードを見ようと取り出すと、そこに見覚えのあるものが……！
何と前アルバム「MOON」の歌詞カードが入っていました！

ピンとくる人はピンとくると思うけれど、コンセプト上、「MOON」には歌詞カードが入っていなかったのです。

曲の評価はそれぞれでしょうが、こういう面白い仕掛けを見るにつけ、ますます惚れてしまいます(当方、男ですが)。

アルバムとしての評価ですが、構成している曲が様々なカラーに広がっていっていて飽きない感じです。その分、実験的なものも多いです。

「MOON」はあまりにもビジュアル的過ぎて曲だけでは物足りない感じでしたが、今回は音楽として充分に満足できるものです。
「MARS」が好きだったなら、買って良いアルバムではないでしょうか？

1曲目から予想を越えた楽曲が待ちかまえていて、
またも「してやられた！」という思いで始まったアルバム。
このアルバムではどうしても「オレンジの太陽」が注目されがちですが、
他のアルバム曲もすごく良い出来になっていて、聴き応え十分です。

バラードがやや多めかな？という印象ですけど、
個人的には過去最高のアルバムだと思います。

是非、ファンでない方にも触れて欲しい作品です。
