昔の安室奈美恵は流行歌を歌わされているという印象がありました。TKプロデュースの下で与えられた曲をこなすという感じです。

それに対し、今の安室奈美恵は自立したように思えます。アーティストとして、自分が何をやりたいのかを知った上で、自分が表現したいものを歌っているように感じます。

歌の方ですが、バラードであれば感動的に歌いあげ、R＆Bであればとにかくカッコ良く歌う。幅広い表現力だと思いました。

世間的には、全盛期を過ぎた歌手と受け取られているのかもしれませんが、私はこれから全盛期を迎えようとしているのだと思えます。最近の安室奈美恵の曲を聴いていない人に、是非聞いてもらいたいです。

このアルバムが発売されて４年ほど経ちますが、はじめは
良い！！と思うトラックが、１つも見つかりませんでした。
本当に、徐々に好きな曲が増えていったアルバムです。
並行して、ライブで♪Fish、♪SO CRAZY、♪Come等を聴き、
より良い曲だと実感できました。
それぞれの曲の主張がはっきりしていて、バラバラな印象
を受けるかもしれませんが、色んなスタイルを披露すると
いうコンセプトなのでは・・。
♪Don't Lie To Meと♪gimme moreかなりいい曲ですよ。

SUITE CHICからの流れを受けての"shine more"Put'em up"so crazy"の３作が一般受けしなかった時期を経て、今年「PLAY」が１位を取りました。
今の安室ちゃんはその３作が収録されているこのアルバムを聞かないとわからない。
苦手な人は苦手かもしれないけど、ここに安室第２ステージへの入り口が確かにあります。
最近、はまった人もぜひ手に取ってみてください!!
１回聞いただけでは、はまりにくいかもしれません。
次回作「Queen of Hip Pop」がこれ以上に進化するので☆４つで♪
