また一人良質な｢歌」を聴かせてくれる男性シンガーソングライターの登場。シンプル＆ストレートなメロディーに絡むちょっとかすれたその声がマジで良い！！！！決して派手ではない演奏にも好感もてます。聴けば聴くほどに味わいのあるアルバムって言うのかな・・・・ここ最近のシンガーソングライター達の中でもかなり｢秘密にしたい｣彼の存在ですが、是非とも聴いて頂きたい手離しでお薦めの一枚です。じんわりと胸に染み入るその歌声をまずは、聴いとくべし。

この手のストレートにポップなメロディで回帰志向のアメリカンポップ・ロックは近年良く耳にするけども、手作り路線なんだけどちょっとわざとらしさが感じられたり、微妙に人工的な印象を受けるサウンドが多いような気がする。
でもこのアルバムは適度にコマーシャルで聴きやすく嫌味のない手作り感が伝わり良い作品だと思う。
ほんのりフォーキーで、手作り感特有の隙間というか歪みというか・・・シンガーソングライターの個性を殺さない程度の粗さが、唄に説得力を持たせ胸を打つ。
ゲストもGlen Phillips、David Garzaと豪華。
それこそGlen、Toad the Wet　Sprocket、またはLifehouse（プロデューサーも一緒だしね）なんかが好きなら気持ちよく聴けるはず。

　星5つでもよかったかも知れない。
　個人的に、こういうスモーキーな声に弱い。それが、こう上手い具合に、ボップでそれもちょっと甘いけれど、音はかっちりとしているの好きだから。もう、それだけでOK!ってなっちゃって。好みの問題と言われれば、それまでだけれど。それがあるから、星4つにしたんだよね。
　こういうポップスと言えばいいのか、ロックと言えばいいのか分からないけれど、安心して聴ける事は確か。歌詞も聴きやすいし、対訳なんてなくても、何となく雰囲気で分かっちゃう気もする。

　たまには、ポップスでも、って方には、いいかも知れませんね。

聴きやすい音楽。
ポップで芯の通ったメロディーに逞しい音、落ち着きのある歌声。
これは世代を超えて皆で楽しめる作品だと思う。
