自宅での利用です。これまで「インクジェット」を使用してきましたが、
ワープロ等のモノクロ印刷が多いことから「レーザー」を探していました。

１．レーザープリンタを選んだ理由
　1ワープロ文書等、Ａ４用紙でモノクロ印刷利用が中心のため。
　2蛍光ペンを利用しても字がにじまないため。（これが決め手！）

２．この商品を選んだ決め手

　1カセット給紙式であり、紙を入れっぱなしにできるため。
　2トナーとドラムが分離式のため、ランニングコストが安いため。

３．実際に使ってみての感想
　1予想以上に動作音が静か。
　2予想以上に印刷速度が速い。自分の持っているインクジェットより
　　速い。特に、複数枚印刷時に効果が大きい。

　3質感が良い。数年前の中上級機と変わらない。
　4会社のデスクの横に、欲しくなった・・・
　5プリンタケーブルが別売。使っていないケーブル（パラレル）があった
　　のでこれを利用した。こういうものは普通は同梱だと思っていたので、
　　少しビックリ。

全体的にみて、とても満足しています。買って良かった。

満足しています！この製品　本体値段・ランニングコスト　印刷速度のバランスは最高です。本体準備・インストールも10分で終了し簡単でした。
配送されてきた箱の大きさには少し驚きましたが、本体自体はそれほどでもなく、コンパクトでした。印刷中の音は少しありますが、このコストパフォーマンスなら、全然気になりません。もちろん印刷品質も満足しています。白黒プリントを多めにする方にお勧めの製品です。

PowerMacG4(MDD)、OS9/OSXで使用。
設定が簡単(梱包を解いてから15分後には印刷してました)。
CD-ROMに動画付の設定ガイドもあるので便利。
待機時はほぼ無音。Macのほうがうるさいぐらい…。
テキストデータの印刷を目的に買ったのにいきなり黒ばっかり(20%ぐらい？)の
町内会報を印刷するハメになりましたが、あっという間に200枚余りを綺麗に
刷ってくれて早速大活躍でした。
コストの面も含めて考えると大変使い勝手が良いものだと思います。
