作品は、素晴らしい！
しかしだっ！いい加減にろ！ＣＣＣＤなんてモノ、誰が
好き好んで買うっての？
ＣＣＣＤなんてゴミを、売り付けるなんて
犯罪そのものでんがな！
文句あるヤツいる？　
いないだろーに・・・。

前作とともに本盤のﾉﾝCCCD・ﾘﾏｽﾀｰ盤がｼﾞｭｴﾙ･ｹｰｽ盤ではあるものの
既に2006年5月にﾘﾘｰｽされたので本ｱﾙﾊﾞﾑの存在意義は、CD本体
ではなく封入されたﾐﾆ写真集とでもいうべきﾌﾞｯｸﾚｯﾄとｵﾏｹCDであろう。

ﾌｨﾝ･ｺｽﾃﾛ氏によるその写真はおおむね、ﾓﾉｸﾛであり彼等の
ｷｬﾝﾌﾟなｲﾒｰｼﾞからは逸脱していて興味深い。
当時既に毒々しいﾒｲｸｱｯﾌﾟからは抜け出て、「ﾔﾝｸﾞ･ｱﾒﾘｶﾝｽﾞ」の
頃のﾎﾞｳｲ氏のようにさえ見える。つまり洗練。
また当時の客演に敬意を表して土屋氏の画像も。
土屋氏の存在は彼等と並んでも全く違和感なく、あの強烈な
ﾙｯｸｽは彼等ﾊﾞﾝﾄﾞに別の凄みを与えたかのようでもある。

しかし何よりｵﾘｼﾞﾅﾙと差し替えられたこのｱﾙﾊﾞﾑ･ｼﾞｬｹｯﾄ。
京都とおぼしき場所で撮影されたこの写真の出来は素晴らしい。
残念ながらこの写真を使用しているのは2003年CCCD・ﾃﾞｨｼﾞﾊﾟｯｸ盤のﾎﾞｯｸｽのみ。

ｵﾏｹCDはさして貴重な音源と思えずまずは聞く事もないであろう。

何よりﾘﾏｽﾀﾘﾝｸﾞが冴え渡り、ﾌﾟﾛﾌｨｯﾄ５の不安定なｼﾝｾと
ｼﾞｬﾝｾﾝ氏のﾘｽﾞﾑ･ｾｸｼｮﾝのｾﾝｽの良さと技術力の高さが
確認出来る。
但し前作まで彼等が醸し出していた妖艶で危険な香りは
ここには全く存在せず無機質なﾓｰﾄﾞ系の音楽の一つでしかなくなっている。
ﾌﾟﾛﾀﾞｸｼｮﾝを任されたﾛｸｼｰ人脈のｽﾃｨｰﾌﾞ･ﾅｲ氏の仕事の中では
疑問点の一つ。ここはｼﾞｮﾝ･ﾊﾟﾝﾀｰ氏の任せるべきだったのでは？

ここで奏でられる音楽と当時のYMOの音楽との差異を見つけるのは極めて
困難。

YMOと同じく自家中毒に陥って崩壊する様がまるで見えるかのよう。

デヴィッド・シルヴィアンと実弟のスティーヴ・ジャンセン、デヴィッドの級友のミック・カーンを中心に75年に結成。78年にデビュー作『果てしなき反抗』をリリース。退廃的なビジュアルとグラム・ロックとファンクを融合させた音楽性は、本国英国よりも先に日本で評価された。本作はオリジナルとしては最終作となった81年発表の5作目で、初期の音楽性からはかけ離れた東洋的なイメージの強い緻密かつ複雑に構築された世界を築いている。
