「ピアニスト」のジャケットを見た時、不思議な感覚に囚われた。キスシーンにしては、
体勢が不自然だ。深く愛し合っているようでもあるし、突然男に奪われたようでもある。
しかもその場所は？　なんとトイレだ！？。そう言えば、「ピアノ・レッスン」の波打ち
際に置かれたピアノも変だが、「ピアニスト」のこのジャケットも相当インパクトがある。

果たして映画は、ジャケットの予想に違わず、相当に本当に病んだ精神を映し出していた。
監督のミヒャエル・ハネケが、「自分の映画は大勢の人が目を背けたくなるくらい嫌うが、
何故そういう気持ちになるか、考えて欲しい」という主旨のことを何かに書いていたが、
言われなくても、十分に考えさせられる。見終った後も数日間、滓のように溜まり続ける。

今まで「愛の嵐」「ベティ・ブルー」「ワルシャワの柔肌」等、倒錯した愛を描いた作品
を見てきたが、作り物でないリアリティという点では抜きん出ているのではないかと思う。
母親の異常とも言うべき過保護に対して、娘としてやり場のない反抗の後で、詫びながら
じゃれつくシーンがあるが、勢い余って首を絞めるではと心配し、見ていて苦しくなった。

主演の二人は賞を受賞しただけあって、ものすごい演技で圧倒されっぱなしです。
主演のイザベルユペールがほぼすっぴんで、苦痛にゆがんだ表情が脳裏に焼きつきました。
内容はちょっと目を覆いたくなるようなシーンが多々あって、後味が悪い感じですが、きっと現実ってこんなものなんでしょう。

美化もされないし、救いもない。そこがフランス映画らしい所です。
最後に一人で会場を出てさまよう主人公が、幸せになってくれたら
と願ってしまいました。

センセーショナルな性描写が取り上げられがちですが、「ピアノの為にすべてを犠牲にしてきた」女性の苦悩が丁寧に描かれていると思います。主人公の教え子が怪我をし、その母親が「ピアノの為にすべてを犠牲にしてきたのに」と呟くと『娘がでしょ』と呟く場面が印象的でした。男性との距離感も極端で、痛々しかったし、ラストは突飛な感じがしたけど、変に納得してしまいました。主人公と恋に落ちた教え子を演じたブノワが彼女よりも美しかったです。

とてもフランスっぽい映画でした。
しかし、あまりに暴力的でグロテスクなシーンが
