日本にもこんなに素晴らしいバンドがいたとは…
最近は邦楽パンクを敬遠してたんですが反省です。音的にはUSエモとUK叙情派、西海岸の影響も微かに感じさせます。つーか上質なロックと言い切ってしまいましょう！曲は完璧、発音も完璧（だと思う）、欲を言えばVoが淡白な気もするけどそこが良いのかも。Copelandぽいところもありますが個人的にはこっちのほうが聴きやすいです。洋楽ファンもJ-POPしか聴かない人もイケルでしょ。
よって気に入った人は友達に教えまくろう。

日本の音楽たくさん聞いたけどOCEANLANEはホンマに特別なバンドですよ。ハジメさんの声は珍しいし、英語の発音はカンペキし、メロディは最高し。詩はメランコリックけど全部に願望も入れる。。それで気分はどうでも聞いたら似合うと思う。このCDは大好き！
I have listened to alot of Japanese music but Oceanlane is different. Hajime's voice is rare, his english pronouciation is perfect(sounds californian actually!), and the melodies are some of the best I've heard recently. The lyrics, while meloncholic, are always laced with hope, which makes for a great listen no matter the mood. I love this record!

初めて聞いたとき、まさか日本のバンドだとは思ってもいませんでした。「新人のヨーロッパバンドかなぁ」とか思ってたら生まれも育ちも日本のバンドと聞いてホントびっくりしました。同時に「なんちゅういい感じのバンドを見つけてしまったんだぁ！」と一人興奮してました。

TRAVIS，OASIS，MOTOR　ACE（←彼らはオーストラリア出身ですが）あたりのブリットポップバンドを思わせるような透明感のあるギターサウンドにALL　AMERICAN　REJECTSっぽい若さと切なさがあふれてます。ここまで胸にぐっとくる当たり、やっぱ日本人の感性をくすぐる何かも潜んでるのかもしれません。海辺とかで聞いたら涙で出そうな感じです（笑）

ムリに英詩を歌ってなんか不自然になってしまっているバンドとか最近多いように思えるのですが、このバンドは英語の発音もばっちりでホントイギリスとか北欧とかのバンドが好きな人にはたまらない一枚になってると思います。私的には久々にトリハダもんのアルバムでした♪
