何回聴いてもあきません。最近大ヒット曲はないみたいですが、アルバムをじっくり聴くとすばらしい曲ばかりです。
はずれがありません。
特に「手紙」は泣けます…。
それにアルバムタイトルにもなっている「STRAIGHT」のハモリの部分は
ゾクゾクするほど素敵です。
どの曲も聞き流さずに、ぜひ歌詞をじっくり聴いてください！

例えばゆずと比べたら、彼らがいつもあけっぴろげに歌うのに比べて、歌声に暗さや微妙な影も落とせるのが、コブクロの特徴だろうかと思いました。それは1曲目のアダージョの明るさから、2曲目の秋の木漏れ日のような、柔らかい光に包まれた曲へ移る時に感じたものです。
きっと背の高いかたの声だと思うのですが、声の太さだけでなく体型のぶんだけ胸に音をおとせてるのかな、だから歌声の中に深いものが生まれてるな、と。高音だけ上へ舞い上がってばかりの歌手だと、聞いていても疲れるんですが、落ち着きもある点がコブクロのデュオだと思ったわけです。

4曲目のノスタルジーさは大江千里の「あきうた」を思わせ、古きよいものを踏襲してる音楽観を感じました。5曲目も黄昏感に包まれて、前半は良くいえばはずれがない曲たち、悪く言えばちょっとまったりしすぎかなと。
6曲目から少しタッチが変わるのですが、どこかビートルズ的でやはり懐かしさがあります。8曲目の「背番号1」は名曲ですね。歌詞が素晴らしいです。段々聴いていくうちに後半はバラエティ、メロのきれいさ共々前半以上に楽しませてくれていることに気付きました。
最後の曲はまるでコンサート最後のアンコール曲の様な効果で、きれいに舞台が締まったような曲ですね。我々ファン以外の者がコブクロに期待するものが、最後に最高な形で出てきた感じです。

コブクロの３枚目のアルバムです。バラードあり、ロックありの盛り沢山の内容になっています！！小渕君の心に真っ直ぐ届く歌詞とメロディーに、黒田くんの楽曲によって色を変える優しくパワフルな歌声が魅力的です！！
コブクロの歌を聴いたことがない人でもスッと入っていけると思うので沢山の人に聴いてもらいたいです。
