   人気の総合格闘技「PRIDE」の2003年の活躍を題材にした格闘アクションゲーム。同名のアーケード版をPlayStation2版としてミルコ・クロコップ、イゴール・ボブチャンチンなど出場選手を大幅増強させている。

   実況システムが実装され、熱い戦いをさらに盛り上げてくれる。実況にはフジテレビの三宅正治アナウンサー、解説には高田延彦氏を起用し、TV中継さながらのライブ感を再現させている。またモードも多彩でメインの「GRAND PRIX」モードではPRIDEグランプリに出場するため予選3試合を闘い、本戦のトーナメントに進む。他にも自由に対戦できる「ONE MACTH」モードや自分自身のオリジナルファイターを作成できる「CREATE FIGHTER」モードも用意。

   また出場選手は、組みからの攻撃を得意とするグラップラー（桜庭、吉田、高山、アレク大塚など）、打撃系攻撃が得意なストライカー（ミルコ、シウバ、イゴールなど）、そしてあらゆる攻防に対処できるオールラウンダー（ヒョードル、ドン・フライ、ノゲイラなど）に分かれ、夢の対戦が実現されるであろう。（林田信浩）

選手が増えたのは良いのですが、選手の強さに差がなくなったのはいただけません。コンピュータ同士で戦わせると、松井がヒョードルやミルコに勝ってしまいます。前作はコンピュータ同士の戦いを見ているだけでもＰＲＩＤＥファンとしては楽しめたのですが、今回はそうはいきません。また、設定を最強にしても、コンピュータに簡単に勝ててしまうのもどうかと思います。
逆に良くなった点は、グラウンドパンチの連打によりＫＯできるようになったため、ストライカーがグラップラーに劣後するといった前作の欠点が解消されている点が挙げられます。

総括すると、ＣＯＭ対戦中心の方にはあまりお勧めできませんが、２人対戦を中心に遊ぶ方には比較的お勧めできると言えます。

正直期待外れです。まずロード時間が長すぎ！！スムーズに試合ができなくてイライラした。あと敵が弱すぎです。レベルをHARDにしても全然手ごたえが無いのと、選手の特徴的な動きが表現されていないのが残念です。クリエイトファイターは期待したんですが、これもロード時間が長い。それに技が自分で設定できなくて正直落ち込みました。こうなったら２７日でるＫ-１に期待するか！！

先日、プライドのミドル級GPが行われ、その余韻で迷わず買ってしまいました。かなり期待をしていた分、プレイしてみてがっかりです。登場選手の多さは、他団体のミルコとか高山とかいて面白いと思います。が、みんな強さがさほど変わらないです。ミルコのキックをあれだけ食らって立っているのは不自然だし、松井がヒョードルに勝ってしまうのはどんなもんでしょう？全作のほうがまだよかったような気がします。次回作はもっと進化したものを期待してます。
