   書籍や映画で大人気の「ハリー・ポッター」シリーズに登場する、魔法使いたちの定番スポーツ「クィディッチ」を題材にしたゲームが登場。クィディッチとは人間界でいえばサッカーやバスケットボールに似たところがあるものの、ホウキにまたがった選手が空中で競技を行うという点では、人間はまったく体験したことのないはずのゲームだ。

   ゲームは全14人の選手が、4つの「生きた球」を使ってゴールを狙うというもの。ゴールを守る「キーパー」ほか、チーム内でさまざまなポジションが用意されており、プレイヤーはすべてのポジションをプレイすることが可能だ。

   ステージはホグワーツの4つの寮「グリフィンドール」「スリザリン」「ハッフルパフ」「レイブンクロー」が用意されている。練習試合とホグワーツ寮対抗杯を通してクィディッチの基本を学んだ後、「クィディッチ・ワールドカップ」で国際チームと対戦する。もちろん対戦チームにはそれぞれ特色があり、何通りものゲームが楽しめるのがうれしい。（三井貴美子）

魔法使いの世界で熱狂的な人気を誇るスポーツ「クィディッチ」を再現したゲーム。プレイヤーは、空飛ぶ魔法のほうきに乗って空中に飛び立ち、クィディッチ競技場で試合を体験できる。個性あふれるクィディッチ・チーム、ホグワーツの4つの寮から1つを選び、4つの寮が大戦する寮対抗杯に優勝して、世界各国のナショナルチームが登場するワールドカップへの出場を目指す。グリーンフィールドのハリーをはじめ、スリザリンのドラコやハッフルパフ、レイブンクロー、ブルガリアのビクトールを操ることができ、パスを回してゴールを決める「チェイサー」、金のスニッチを捕まえる「シーカー」など、様々なポジションの選手としてプレイも可能。クィディッチカードを集めてスペシャルムーブをマスターすると、チームによって特徴のある様々な連携プレイやシュートを打つことができる。対戦モード、3D環境および様々なスペシャルエフェクトも用意。

2.0 out of 5 stars もっとクィディッチの特徴を活かしてほしかった, 2003/11/28
コンボシステム等のゲームを面白くする要素があるものの、各ポジションの役割を活かしきれていないのが残念。
基本的にチェイサーをいかにうまく動かすかで勝敗が決まってしまう。
ビーターはある条件の下でしか使えないし、キーパーは操作すらできない。

それからどのチームにもこれといった特徴がない。

もちろんスペシャルムーブは異なるが、発動したら自動的にゴールするだけで、チームカラーと呼べるものではない。
またコンピュータが弱すぎで、難易度が最高でも慣れれば簡単に勝てる。

『ハリーポッター』シリーズの中で毎回のように登場する、クィディッチを再現したゲーム。

操作は単純であるが、パスの連携や相手の動きを読んで戦略を立てる等、スポーツ性がかなりある。

原作・映画共に大ファンだ、という方には文句なしにお勧めできるであろう。
