拝郷メイコのセカンド・アルバム。神田うの出演の牛乳普及協会のCMソング「もしも私がお母さんになったら」ほか10曲を収録。不思議な魅力がある。ヴォーカルもメロディも歌詞も突出してインパクトはないけれども、聴き終わると何となくのほほんとなれる。

2001年にデビューした女性シンガー・ソングライターのセカンド・アルバム。基本的にはギターやピアノなどのアコースティック・サウンドをバックに、しっとりと歌い上げていくスタイルで、彼女の繊細な声を前面に押し出している。時代を問わず受け入れられる普遍的な音楽性だ。全体の雰囲気としては優しさが滲み出ているが、その背景にあるのは日々の生活の中で何気なく移り変わる一つ一つの感情。それらが風景と重なり合いながら流れ、歌として昇華される。ゆったりとした時間感覚が、そのまま生き方を反映しているようだ。 (土屋京輔) --- 2003年12月号

ささやかだけど、
だれのそばにでもあるはずの瞬間やものたち・・
そして人とのすれ違いやふれあい・・
耳に入ってくる彼女の唄を聴くうちに、
いつのまにか・・
自分の中にある同じ気持ちや想い出をかさね合わせている・・
自然とやさしい気持ちでいる自分に気がつく・・

けなげで、あたたかな彼女の詩、そして歌声は、
ムリなく聴く人の中に入り込み、
さっきまでより少し幸せな自分に変えてくれる・・

癒し・・
このことばがどこでも聞かれる今日この頃、
でも、人を癒そうなんていう気負いは少しもなく、
ただ、ありのままのことばたち、音たちを紡いだ彼女の音楽は、
久しぶりに、「癒し」という言葉を素直に呼び起こしてくれる体験でした。。。
