70年代初期、村八分のギタリストとして活躍していた山口冨士夫が80年代後半に結成した、ティアドロップス。メンバーは、ボーカル＆ギターが、山口冨士夫と、村八分時代の盟友、青木真一。リズム隊は、元フールズの2人、ベースがカズ中嶋、ドラムが佐瀬‘BIGBEAT’浩平。
本作は、元々インディーズで発売していた1ｓｔアルバムを、東芝ＥＭＩが、リマスターしてシングルをボーナストラックに入れて発売したもの。 チャックベリーの‘メンフィステネシー’を彷彿させる１から、全曲書き下ろし。ブルースブラザースもやっていた‘ピーターガンのテーマ’をベースにした２、どブルースナンバーの４、イントロ歌前のブレイクが、ちょっぴり‘タイムマシンにお願い’に似てしまった（笑）５、忌野清志郎がコーラスで参加した７、いまでもライブでは欠かせない９、伊藤耕率いるブルースビンボーズもカバーした１２等、捨て曲無しの名盤。このアルバムの発売前後には、清志郎が、来日中だったジョニーサンダースを引き連れて、ライブに飛び入り、夢のセッション大会というのもありました。

ただ、残念なのは、元々インディーズ盤だっただけに、音質がイマイチということ（リミックスでかなり改善されてはいますが・・・）。
コアなファンの方には、ハガクレレコードより2003年に発売されたデラックスエディション盤（ＩＳＣＰ１１３８９）が、丸々1枚分デモ音源、ライブ音源等のおまけが付いてお勧めです。
内容的には、5つ星ですが、デラックス盤が別に存在する点、音質がイマイチな点を差し引いて星4つ。

伝説となったバンドですが、今でもペパーミントジャムのメンバーを入れてやっています。激レアオリジナル盤と再録トラックが入っている。LONDON NITEでおなじみのGO GO BILLYもオリジナルテイクで入ってます。再録の1曲目からヤラレっぱなし！

メジャーレコード第一弾のアルバムですが、メジャーな音・音質が少しするだけで、相変わらずのストレートなロックです。　しかし、レゲイ調の曲、キャチーな曲もあるので、比較的に聴きやすいアルバムです。　それでも、同時期の日本のメジャーなストレートなロックバンドと比べても、メジャーな音・音質とはいえません。　山口冨士夫、忌野清志郎のファン、コレクターは購入した方が良い作品です。
