スキッドロウの新しいアルバムを聞けるというだけで、素直に嬉しかった！確かに最強のヴォーカリスト、セバスチャン・バックの代わりを務めるというのはどんなシンガーでも難しい。賛否両論あると思うけど、今度のヴォーカル、ジョニー・ソリンジャーもかっこいいじゃないか！声は少し低めだけど、歌い方もかっこいいし、確かにスキッドロウの名前が重過ぎるとの見方もあるかもしれないけど、彼らが作り上げるニュー・スキッドロウを見守って行きたいと思う。Thick is the skin、Ghost、See you aroundなどはやはり「いいね~」とうならさせられる。レイチェルとスネイクは本当いい曲書くなって改めて思った。案の定問題となったI remember you twoは、オリジナルとはまったく違う曲となってしまっているが、これはこれでかっこいいと思う。だけどやはりオリジナルのバラード・バージョンも期待したい！ライブやってくれないかな~！

VoとDrが変わった新生SKID ROWの一枚目。
結論から言うと、悪くない。むしろ僕は凄い好きです。
確かに新Voのジョニーは、音域の面では前Voのバズには劣ります。しかし、CDを聞く限りではよく歌えているし、低音がバズに似ている部分もあり、満足出来る歌唱だと思います。
肝心の曲の方も、リーダートラックの5、ジョニーの歌唱が冴える2、6、温かいバラードの8、疾走する12などバラエティ豊かな内容で魅力ある作品だと思います。
「Voはバズじゃなきゃ駄目」という人にはオススメしませんが、単純に良いHR/HMが聴きたい人にはオススメします。

4.0 out of 5 stars セバスチャン無きＳＫＩＤ、４ｓｔアルバム, 2003/11/17
サウンドは、２００３年の音。しかし、１ｓｔのあとに発表されててもいいような、ポップパンクロックなものになっている。正直かっこいいと思うものも多い。１ｓｔから聞いているものよりも、今の若い子のほうが、この音の格好良さがわかるのではないかと思う。

問題となるボーカルは、無難に上手いといった感じだが、セバスチャンほどのエッジ・やんちゃさ・オーラは残念ながら無い。つぶした感じなど、似てるなと思える瞬間もあるのだが、高域のヌケ、エッジはバズに軍配があがる。ＳＫＩＤ　ＲＯＷのメロディがいいだけに、やはり、バズがいればと思ってしまうが、初めてＳＫＩＤを聞く人にとっては、イケてるアルバムになるのではないだろうか。
賛否あると思うが、Ｉ　Ｒｅｍｅｍｂｅｒ　Ｙｏｕのパンクアレンジは、なかなか面白いと思った。でもでも、やはり個人的にはバズのＳＫＩＤが聞きたいので星４つ。
