過去にファーストスマイルから発売されたスパロボ関連の歌を集めたベスト盤シリーズ第一弾。
新曲を追加せずに、既出のスタジオ音源からセレクトした構成。
２５曲入り２枚組で、値段としてもお手ごろ。
最近になってファンになった人にとって、最適なCDですね。

逆にいえば、以前からの熱烈なファンならば、ほとんど持っている曲ばかりの可能性も。
私の場合は、いくつか持っていない曲があったので買いましたが。
ただ、ブックレットが歌詞を掲載しているだけだったのが非常に残念。
関係者のコメントや曲の解説を充実させてほしかったですね。
というわけで、星４つです。

今回出たスーパーロボット魂 ザ・ベスト Vol.1~スパロボ編ハッキリいってこんな豪華で良いのかってぐらいのボリュームです。まずいまはこの曲をこのCDを買わないと聴けないような曲が「マジンカイザー｣です。知ってる人は知ってるスパロボにマジンカイザーのBGMが歌になった奴です。他にもフルサイズはなかなか聞けないザンボット３やダイターン3も入ってるし　ﾝプレストオリジナルの曲は時を越えて（スパロボメインテーマ）や鋼の魂（SRX戦闘BGM）や我ニ敵ナシ（龍　王、虎竜王戦闘BGM）の歌もありますから聴いたことのない人は是非一度は買って聞いて見る事をお勧めします。
