なんて素晴らしいんだろうという美しい美しいフェアポート・コンヴェンションの４枚めですが、緑の爽やかな風が吹いているようで、車で聴いているとそのままイギリスの田園風景に飛び込んでいきそうな気がする完璧なアルバムです。このたしかな透明感には、なんだか心があきらかになるようだし、とにかく完璧です。なんなんだろうというくらい思いのままになっている多彩で伸びやかな音色が、創造性の頂点にあるバンドのたしかな息吹を感じさせます。どこまでもクリアで、けっして軽くなることなく突き抜けたバンドの演奏と、圧倒的に信頼できるサンディ・デニーの歌声とが創り上げた世界を、いつ聴いても心から歓迎する気持ちになります。
