基本的に管楽器が得意ではなく、ジャズを聴くとしたら
ピアノ、ドラム、ベースのトリオだろうな、と思ってたのに、
こいつを聴かされてぶっとびましたね。
数百枚あるCDの中でジャズはこれともう一枚（それもオーネット）。
聴かせてくれた友人は、「ロック好きでも聴ける」といい、
その通りはまって、その後いろいろな音楽通系の友人に
聴かせたら、軒並み全員はまりました。

ほんと、ジャンルなんて関係なく、とにかくいい。
基本メロディ繰り返しの音楽がこんなに気持ちいいいとは。

ぼーっと聴いてもいい、真剣に聴いてもいい。
でも、一番のお勧めはでかい音量（もしくはちゃんとした
ヘッドフォンで）で、部屋を真っ暗にして目を閉じて。。。
だんだん気持ちよくなってきますよ。トリップするのに
薬なんかいりません（苦笑）
＃すみません、輸入盤のほうに書いたのと同じ内容で。。。

ユニバーサルの[Jazz the BEST]シリーズの一枚としてのリイシューです。
この時期にリマスターでもなく、未発表テイクもなく、安くもなく
以前からのファンには特に興味を引くものではありません。
聴いたことのない方はこの機会に是非。究極のアンチマッチョ音楽、ハーモロディック音楽の代表的な作品です。

タイトルに偽りなし。流石オーネット。男の中の男。うねりっぱなしの表題曲と民族ジャム。
