久しぶりに山下洋輔聴く気になったのは、TV「題名のない音楽会」で佐渡裕と自作のピアノ協奏曲をやっているのを見たから。そのCD「エンカウンター」と一緒にこのCDも買いました。最初のバッハから山下節炸裂なんですが、ラプソディ・イン・ブルーは、特に、弾かれてる曲自身がうれしくて仕方が無いみたいに、はじけて聞こえます。素晴らしい！

”センチメンタル”を購入して山下洋輔にハマった私は、続いてこれを購入しました。
このアルバムは、ラプソディ・イン・ブルーに尽きると思います。
筒井康隆もライナーノートに書いているように、山下洋輔のむこうには
何十人のオーケストラが居るのに違いありません。

うちの嫁さんにはイマイチ理解できないところもあるみたいなんですが、、、
これから一生、何か一曲しか弾いてはいけない、ということになったら
おそらくこの山下洋輔のラプソディ・イン・ブルーを選ぶでしょう。
上手く真似できなくても、こういう弾き方をしてみたい、と思うのです。
なにものにもとらわれずに、壮大に、自由に。
