このバンドはボーカルの表現力が一つの重要要素であるが、このアルバムの『ジョーカー』により、その思いは強くなった。彼の力は計り知れない。ただ単にメロディアスだったり、絶叫していればそれなりにすごく見える。しかし、このバンドの作品に手が出てしまうのは、そういったすごさだけではなく、一人一人のクオリティを見せ付けられるからなのだ。『ジョーカー』という曲は、その中でもスケールの桁が違っている。それは、どこにでも落ちているようなものでは決してない。

歌詞が印象的でものすごく、なんというか世の中にある全ての汚い感情だとか、きれいなモンを詰め込んだ世界が展開されてて、めっちゃシンクロする。バックホーンらしさがよくであらわれている作品だとおもうから割とコイツでファンになった人も多いと思う。『ジョーカー』、『羽根~夜空を越えて~』、『プラトニックファズ』は最高。
